Engagement + awards.

Well connected, excellently rated.

Connection is one of our core values – not just within our team. That is why we actively seek exchange, promote innovation, and take a clear stand for diversity. We get involved – in the energy industry and beyond.

This commitment is visible through joint initiatives and awards. Our seals and memberships are confirmation and incentive – and demonstrate our high standards for quality, work culture, and technological progress.

Charta der Vielfalt [Diversity Charter]

With our signature of the Charta der Vielfalt [Diversity Charter], we are sending a clear signal and underlining our commitment to an open, tolerant, and diverse work culture.

The Charta der Vielfalt is Germany’s largest employer initiative for promoting diversity in the workplace. More than 6,500 companies and institutions have already signed the charter. The non-profit association sees itself as a builder of bridges between corporate reality, social demands, and the international environment.

EASEE-gas

As an active member of EASEE-gas, we contribute our IT and industry expertise to help shape the digitalization of the European energy industry at the forefront.

EASEE-gas [European Association for the Streamlining of Energy Exchange – gas] brings together around 80 companies active in the European gas market. Established in 2002 and based in Brussels, the association develops efficient and harmonised solutions that enhance business processes across the gas value chain. By promoting common standards, secure data exchange and collaboration among stakeholders, EASEE-gas contributes to a sustainable, reliable and well-integrated European energy system.

Great Place to Work

As early as 2018, we were among the best employers in the industry – with our current certification for 2026, we once again demonstrate that Virtimo is and remains a “Great Place to Work.”

Great Place To Work® supports companies worldwide in developing a successful corporate culture and, with it, their competitiveness. The international institute certifies organizations and companies of all industries and sizes based on a representative and anonymous employee survey. Every year, surveys are conducted worldwide in 170 countries with more than 20 million employees from 21,000 companies. In addition, particularly excellent employers are recognized internationally, nationally, regionally, and industry-specifically as “Best Employers” for their performance.

Innovativ durch Forschung

We have been active in research in the field of digitalization and society for years. In our current projects, PREVENT and CYLENCE, we collaborate with universities and authorities to investigate the consequences of disinformation and develop appropriate countermeasures. In recognition of this commitment, we hold the “Innovative through Research” seal.

With this award, the Stifterverband honors companies throughout Germany that make a significant contribution to the future viability of our society through their special commitment to research and development.

Wikipedia

Since free access to knowledge and an open, collaborative way of working align perfectly with our own corporate values, we support Wikipedia through regular donations.

Wikipedia is a free, multilingual online encyclopedia created and continuously updated by volunteers. Founded in 2001 by Jimmy Wales and Larry Sanger, it is part of the Wikimedia Foundation, a non-profit organization based in the United States. Wikipedia’s goal is to make knowledge freely accessible worldwide, covering a vast array of subject areas. Content is edited collaboratively, allowing any user to create, edit, or expand articles. The platform is characterized by its open structure, collaborative editing, and use of citations, making it one of the most visited websites in the world.

Connecting the best.

Shaping digital transformation together.
