SUCCESSFUL COOPERATION: PRACTICAL PROJECT WITH THE UNIVERSITY DUISBURG-ESSEN
In cooperation with the University of Duisburg-Essen and Prof. Stieglitz’ research group, students participating in the practical project “Enterprise Mobile Apps” created a prototypical mobile application for incident management in large corporations. In a practical scenario they designed concepts which resulted in a possible app for iPhones and Apple Watches. Such an application aims to, for example, identify and categorise critical incidents in the IT departments of (energy) companies with high data traffic more quickly and selectively.
Thanks to their valuable input, participants in the project were not only able to establish a direct content-related relationship with current economic issues, but also to advance Virtimo’s product and idea development. The video gives exciting insight into the successful work of the project team, which demonstrated the constructive combination of science and economic potential in its final presentation.
