With the most recent feature patch, the inubit BPM software is being upgraded further to include extended administrative functions and EAI tools in addition to even higher-level security features! These are all highlights of the new patch:

EXTENDED ADMINISTRATIVE FEATURES

  • Improved support for backup, recovery and migration:
    • Extensive information about the success or failure of an action
    • Configuration options to reduce the amount of data to be migrated
    • Validation function for checking a backup’s content before migration
  • Transparent and even more detailed monitoring:
    • Separate configuration of size limits for protocol files in both system and audit logs
    • Audit log additionally records configuration changes
  • More comfortable export/import of workflows: global variables are considered and renamed or recreated in case of a naming or type conflict
  • The new system variable ISFileSize shows the message size in watchpoint data of workflow execution for the purposes of analysis and cost calculation

INCREASED SECURITY FEATURES

  • The new component EDI Signature Utility offers highly secure features for signing and validating EDI messages and ensures confidentiality and integrity for these important messages
  • The Cryptographer Utility now supports both AES 128 ECB and AES 256 ECB to increase security, and also enables generating hash-based message authentication code (HMAC) in several steps for calculating a AWS signature v4
  • The Encoder Utility now supports the CRC-32-hash algorithm, expanding its range of supported algorithms
  • The Database Connector encrypts the connection using certificates for non connection pooling for MySQL data bank serversErweiterungen der EAI-Tools

UPGRADE ON EAI TOOLS

  • The REST Connector now supports OAuth2 authentication, for example for connecting to several different cloud services; the Module Wizard generates tokens for OAuth2 services
  • Further improvements on the MongoDB Connector concerning the support of XML input for SELECT commands; the output format adheres to the JSON standard
  • Error handling in the Web Service Connector has been simplified and improved by adding expanded error messages
  • The AS2 Connector has been made easier to manage; it now contains detailed information about certificates and private keys used in partner management
  • The Database Connector now offers a revised and updated selection of databases supported by the Module Wizard
