Swedish sea breeze for almost 70 Virtimos.

We came, we saw and we had an incredibly good time! Our annual Work + Travel adventure took us to the far north this time, to Helsingborg in Sweden to be precise. And what can we say? It was once again v-antastic! Almost 70 Virtimos packed their suitcases – and they did so in a colorful mixture of ways: whether classic by train or plane, adventurously on an overnight train or with plenty of horsepower under their butts on a motorcycle – the journey itself was already a small highlight.

For a week, Helsingborg was transformed into our temporary Virtimo headquarters. Of course, we also worked hard on our projects. With the fresh Baltic Sea air around our noses and a view of the water, it felt like the ideas flew even faster.

It’s all in the mix: In addition to the “work” part, the “travel” and above all the “team” aspect was of course not neglected. Our program was packed with many highlights:

• 💡 New impetus + broadening horizons: we shared knowledge across all topics in our know-how sessions, discussed new approaches and ensured that every Virtimo went home a little smarter. A special focus this time was on the Virtimo Vibe. In an intensive, productive workshop, we worked together to identify what defines us as a company and as a team and what values we want to continue standing for in the future.
• 🌊 Action, fun + Swedish nature: we conquered Helsingborg and the surrounding area in a sporty way: bouldering took us up high; paddle tennis got the rackets flying. Whether paddling comfortably in a canoe or with an adrenaline kick on a speed boat – we were magically drawn to the water. Those who preferred solid ground under their feet explored the area by bike or laced up their hiking boots.
• 🎉 The evening hours were all about the community. We will certainly remember the karaoke sessions for a long time to come. And of course there were also various games evenings – tradition is tradition after all!

The fact that we are continuing our Work + Travel tradition despite growth is not a matter of course, but a huge privilege – one that we have enjoyed to the full. Together in Helsingborg we worked, learned, sweated, laughed and created memories that will last for a long time. We are back with a fresh breeze in our sails and a lot of positive energy in our luggage and are already looking forward to everything that is to come – and of course to Work & Travel 2026.
