75 Virtimos, 10th Work + Travel, 16 years of Virtimo – 2026 was all about a Work + Travel of superlatives! Whether it was the best program of all time is for everyone to decide for themselves. But one thing is clear: we had a v-antastic, action-packed week in Senohraby, Czech Republic!
Work hard, travel first.✌️
To do justice to the “Travel” part right from the start, we used the first day for plenty of recreational activities: While some burned off energy canoeing, horseback riding, or cycling, others took a creative and cultural route with painting or a castle tour. To also explore nearby Prague, we gathered in the afternoon for a city rally around Charles Bridge and Prague’s Old Town – before winding down the day with beer, dumplings, and in best company.
All eyes on AI.
Starting Monday, it was laptops open and full steam ahead! Alongside our day-to-day project work, this time was heavily focused on AI, which we also named as the key topic for VIRTIMO VISIONS this year. How do we use AI tools smartly in the browser, in the CLI [Command Line Interface], and how do we anchor them directly in our cloud platform IGUASU? In addition, there were exclusive previews of technical innovations as well as practical insights on fundamental topics such as project management.
Virtimo Vibe is vibing.
A special program item was the sessions on the Virtimo Vibe: It stands not only for a strong sense of togetherness, but also for taking action – whether on topics such as diversity, knowledge transfer, health, or social engagement. Ideas could be submitted in advance and pitched to the team at the start of the week. Throughout the week, interdisciplinary teams came together to work self-organized on concrete projects. Also fitting the vibe: Virtimo’s 16th anniversary, which we celebrated in Senohraby with plenty of glitter and verve. 🥳
