IT’S RELEASE DAY: SAY HELLO TO INUBIT 8.1.

KEYCLOAK AND 2-FACTOR AUTHENTIFICATION.

Communication between INUBIT clients and servers is being switched from user- and password-based to token-based authentication. This has already been made possible by the integration of Keycloak in INUBIT 8.0. We are now taking the next step to further increase the security of communication and pave the way for 2-factor authentication.

SAY HI TO THE NEW CREDENTIALS MANAGER.

The new Credentials Manager, which replaces the Password Manager with an extended range of functions, offers support for trust and keystores in addition to the central management of passwords. More are to follow, with the aim of being able to use the Credentials Manager even more on system connectors in future.

UPDATE OF THE CLUSTER MANAGER.

The Cluster Manager has also been boosted in terms of security: on the one hand, this is ensured by encrypted cluster communication in the network. In addition, authentication ensures that only certain nodes are allowed to join a cluster. The entire cluster can thus be configured more securely against external attacks.

READY FOR TOMCAT 10.

The Process Engine is now ready for Tomcat 10.

COMMUNICATION VIA REST.

Bye bye, SOAP. Welcome REST. We have completely switched the internal SOAP interface for communication between Workbench and Process Engine to REST.
